The Tasty Bird’s Best Burgers
Use this recipe for the ultimate Turkey Burger (or your burger of choice). Add your favorite toppings and tuck it into your bun of choice! The Jelly Queen loves topping her Turkey Burgers with CLASSIC CRANBERRY RELISH for Thanksgiving all year or the SIX PEPPER JELLY for a kick of heat.
Ingredients
1 pound of ground meat (The King loves TURKEY)
2 tablespoons of THE JELLY QUEENS GHEE or butter or oil
¼ cup corn starch
¼ cup THE TASTY BIRD
Directions
Divide your burger meat into equal portions
In separate bowl blend a tablespoon each of cornstarch and TASTY BIRD
Shape your patties and make a dimple in the middle of each burger
Warm your skillet to medium
Add two tablespoons of The Jelly Queens Ghee, butter or your favorite oil
Increase heat to medium high
Dredge each burger corn starch spice mixture and gently add to skillet
If it does not sizzle on contact- remove burgers and increase the heat
Cook 3 - 5 minutes on each side
