Can YOU beat The Jelly King?? 

We are getting ready to crown the next king or queen with our "Biscuits and Jampionship" at World Food Championships (WFC) in Dallas, Texas. Beginning with TWO online recipe contest, jam and pickles, that will qualify ten talented cooks to compete for a sweet cash prize at the world's Ultimate Food Fight in November at Fair Park, Dallas, Texas. 


 The Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit Challenge,

 How to Enter


 ROUND 1

 Your Round 1 email submission should include: 

A biscuit recipe, 

A pan fried chicken recipe 

A jam or jelly recipe 

AND include the use of honey, somewhere in your entry.

 Email your three Round 1 recipes to donna@thejellyqueens.com with 

BISCUITS AND JAMPIONSHIP ENTRY in the subject line 

with your name, address, email and phone number by midnight June 16, 2020. 

You will receive a personal confirmation email from Donna within 24 hours of your entry being received.


ROUND 1 Required ingredients

*Biscuit: Challenge Butter and Jovial Flour OR King Arthur Organic Flour

*Pan Fried Chicken: 

Jelly Queen Spices

*Honey Butter: Bonton Farms Honey

*Jam: Pomona’s Universal Pectin

*Container: Fillmore Container Jars of your choice 

*In addition to emailing your biscuits, pan fried chicken and jam recipe, 

you are required to mail two jars of your jam or jelly recipe in Fillmore Container Jars and all your receipts to:

* The top 20 entries will move to the Round 2 Semi-Finals. 

Semi-Finalists will be notified of their advancement on June 30, 2020


ROUND 2 

As in ROUND 1, ROUND 2 Semi-Finalists will be required to submit via email an original recipe for PICKLES, 

that will be used on your Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits Entry.

Fillmore Container jars of your choice used for your pickles.


TOP 10

The Top 10 entries will move to the finale event where they will face off in the Biscuits and Jampionship competition on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 at the World Food Championships in Dallas, Texas!

The Biscuits and Jampionship’s 10 finalists will be announced on September 2, 2020.


How Will the Contest Be Judged?

* Local E.A.T.™ certified judges will conduct a small judging event at The Jelly Queens’ facility to review all Round 1 recipe submissions and determine the top 20 competitors that will move on to Round 2.

* In the same way, the top 20 submissions in Round 2 will be judged to determine the 

10 finalists who will compete at WFC in November.


Prizes

*1st Place: $2,000 in cash 

and a “Jammin’ Weekend with the Jelly Queen” 

- Includes: meals, 2 nights at Airbnb, ingredients for 1 case each of your jam 

and pickles, use of Jelly Queens FDA Approved kitchen, 

and jammin instruction on how to produce an FDA product. ($2,600 value)


*2nd Place: $1,000 in cash


*3rd Place: $500 in cash

WFC's Main Event to enter this contest.
